Delowar Hossain Shuvo

Sound Engineer | Innovator

Delowar Hossain Shuvo, a devoted music listener, a geek when it comes to electronics and a passionate sound engineer, is the driving force for Joler Gaan’s exceptional sound output. Shuvo is a multi talented individual whose invaluable contributions have played a vital role to the advancement of the band. Bands like Feelings, Ark, Black, Scorpions, Iron Maiden etc are pivotal to Shuvo’s career because these artists inspired him to embark on a journey of music.

As a child Shuvo was intrigued by how electronic circuits  and boards worked which motivated him to learn to create and fix electronic gadgets like amplifiers, speakers, television etc. After he had mastered electronics his interest shifted to sound. He was fascinated by how sound waves behave in different environments, how tweaking the signals changes the output etc. Shuvo self-learned sound engineering and has been a sound engineer since 2014. He has not only live mixed sound for Joler Gaan but also for other artists like James, Indalo, Krishnopokkho and many other independent artists from Bangladesh. Shuvo also does mixing and mastering on audio tracks for the band and other artists.

Joler Gaan is well known for making their own instrument and Shuvo is the genius who does all the electronic installations on those instruments. Shuvo, the man with a golden heart, is truly a blessing for the band.
